Tips for Students to Access Student Portal at Home.

1. Go to the school website mrt.ocsb.ca.

2. At the top of the website click on the tab title:  Student Portal

3. Click on Hapara New Student icon

4. Your child will be prompted to enter his/her email.

• Your child’s school Gmail user name is  firstname.lastname@ocsbstudent.ca

(ex. john.smith@ocsbstudent.ca)

• Your child’s password is his/her initials (in caps) plus marty (lowercase) and a personal number that has been only assigned to your child (ex. JSmarty17).  Most children will remember their password. If they do not you can email me at Patricia.Needham@ocsb.ca. And I will reset it.

4. I would suggest that students click on their Hapara and google docs folders just to practice accessing them from home.
